GENERAL INFORMATION

The Midland Shared Spaces facility includes multimedia equipment, an outdoor courtyard, and 7 public meeting rooms.

Use our MSS Room Calendar to check room availability for your event.   Use our MSS Room Reservation Form to request a room for your event.

We strongly recommend visiting rooms before reserving them to ensure that the space and resources provided are appropriate, and that additional resources and support services can be contracted if needed. 

Reservations are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. Capacity shown is suggested room occupancy. Please note: Building and technology assistance services, including room set-up, will not be available for evening or weekend rentals. Please note: Due to increasing demand we highly recommend reserving your room at least one month in advance. The Midland Shared Spaces staff will respond to reservation requests within 2 business days of receipt of a request. All Room Reservations are NOT booked until you receive an email confirmation from a Midland Shared Spaces staff member. SOME ROOMS REQUIRE A DEPOSIT, due within one week of invoice sent by a staff member of Midland Shared Space. Rooms will not be kept on hold longer than one week without deposit.  Deposits are nonrefundable within 7 business days of your event, and room cancellation within 3 business days of an event will result in full payment being due.

There is an additional fee of $20/hour for nonprofits, and $40/hour for community for room use after 5:00pm Monday-Friday and any time on weekends. Catering, including tea/water/coffee service, is not available through MSS. If you will be serving alcohol at your event, there may be additional requirements, including liability insurance. Midland Shared Spaces is a smoke-free campus. Please do not smoke or vape within 100 feet of any entrance. MSS also prohibits concealed and open carry of firearms.
