Program Logistics
Four in-person quarterly sessions hosted at MSS (3500 N. A Street, Midland).
Breakfast: 8:00 a.m.
Program: 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Four virtual coaching sessions will be scheduled directly between CMP faculty and each participating agency’s leadership team to support application of the program content.

Participation Requirements

The Executive Director/CEO must attend all four in-person sessions.

At least one Executive Committee Board Member must also be present at each session.

A total of three leaders (Executive Director and two Executive Committee Board Members) must be designated for participation.

Participants must complete required pre-work, assessments, and coaching sessions.
Organizations must be based in Midland County.
Priority consideration will be given to organizations anticipating an Executive Director/CEO transition within the next five years.

Meet the Faculty

Leadership X2 is facilitated by experienced talent and transition experts from CareerMP (CMP), bringing decades of leadership development and succession planning expertise to the nonprofit sector.
CMP is a talent and transition firm in the business of developing people and organizations across the full talent lifecycle—from Recruitment and Leadership Development to Outplacement support. Maryanne Pina
Maryanne Piña is a CEO, entrepreneur, and professional development facilitator who helps nonprofit leaders strengthen the people side of mission delivery—leadership capability, career mobility, and organizational resilience. As CEO of Career Management Partners (CMP), she leads work across leadership development, executive search, and career transition services, supporting organizations across the Americas, Asia, and Europe. CMP is the only minority- and woman-owned firm in the U.S. with a global presence across the full talent lifecycle.

Joe Frodsham
As President of Career Management Partners (CMP), Joe Frodsham has extensive experience across multiple industries leading human resource functions and building cutting-edge talent management systems. Prior to becoming President of CMP, Joe led JBKF Group. As President of JBKF, Joe spent a decade as a consultant to companies across industries, helping them build talent, grow, and manage change.
Prior to forming JBKF Group, Joe served as Vice President of Talent and as the interim Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Tenet Healthcare, the largest publicly owned hospital chain in the United States. Prior to Tenet, Joe was Global Director, Leadership Development, at Whirlpool Corporation, helping the company achieve the international ranking as the 11th best company for leaders according to the annual Hewitt study. Joe also worked with Compaq Computer Corporation from 1996 to 2002, assuming a series of progressively larger roles, ultimately leading the staffing and organizational effectiveness functions. Joe began his career with Andersen Consulting.
Joe earned his bachelor's degree in psychology and his master's degree in organizational behavior from Brigham Young University. He has published many articles, co-authored two books on careers - "Make it Work" and “Don’t Dread Monday” - and is a speaker and recognized expert on talent, leadership, change, and organization development. Joe’s areas of expertise include:
